‘In the eyes of a peacock’ by Rabindranath Tagore is undoubtedly one of my favourites. Tagore’s message of the irrelevance of his poetry to nature resonates with my own belief in the irrelevance of my daily stresses when viewed through the eyes of my surrounds. This poem has been in my heart since my encounter with it in India, 4 years ago. It has metamorphosed into ‘Mountains Don’t Care’ in my soul. Enjoy the read!
